Don't go across into the main part of Padwell Road; just
turn right out of this cut through The Avenue, get into
the inside lane and be ready to take the second left
into Middle Street immediatly after the traffic lights.
Take the first right into Methuen Street then right at
the end of that (short) street into Southcliff Road.
For
obvious reasons I do not disclose
my exact address until a "free
- no strings meeting .... "
has been discussed and confirmed
by email or telephone by myself
and prospective students.
By
car - coming from the West: Come off of Milbrook Road
into Paynes Road. Go straight on untill your get to 'Foyes
Corner' traffic lights at the junction with Shirly High
Street. Go straight across into Archers Road. Follow that
all the way through to the junction with The Avenue. When
a suitable gap appears (the traffic lights down the road
will create one soon enough) go directly across to the
outside lane and be ready to turn right and right again
so as to be - coming down The Avenue (see above)
into town.
Southcliff
Road is quite - and the are plenty of one hour stay parking
places - because it is a no-through road ... and in a
Conservation Area. The house and dojo is at the end of
this no-through road overlooking a convergence of paths,
green open space, and just as many mature trees as oldy-worldy
Victorian lamposts.
Coming
by car (or walking) from the North East down Bevois Valley
(A335 from Eastleigh) and Onslow Road: You could ...
go into town and around the new hotel at Charlotte Place
and then up The Avenue as above; or - you could simply
turn right at the Bevois Castle pub and up Rockstone Lane.
Right at the top there is plenty of one hour stay parking
and the dojo is just a short walk away across the green.
